Assistant Research Scientist –
High-Resolution NMR
CARB, a joint research program in bioscience
measurements involving the National Institute of Standards and
Technology and the Institute for Bioscience and Biotechnology Research
(IBBR), University of Maryland, seeks an
Assistant Research Scientist
to support research programs associated with its high-resolution NMR
facility. The CARB facility houses a 500 MHz and two 600 MHz
Bruker Biospin NMR spectrometers, and a 900 MHz NMR spectrometer is
currently being acquired. Qualified applicants should be Ph.D. or
equivalent level scientists with strong backgrounds in practical and
theoretical aspects of biomolecular NMR spectroscopy. Applicants should
have strong communication and organizational skills, broad scientific
interests and a supportive, collaborative disposition. Salary
will be commensurate with qualifications.
