A Postdoctoral Researcher position is available in
the laboratory of Megan Macnaughtan, Department of Chemistry, Louisiana
State University. Required Qualifications: Ph.D. or
equivalent degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or a related field;
extensive experience in protein NMR; computer literacy; ability to
communicate effectively and professionally, both orally and in writing.
. A.B.D. (All But Dissertation) candidates will be considered, but must
have Ph.D. by June 14, 2010. Additional Qualifications
Desired: Experience in isotopic labeling, protein expression,
paramagnetic relaxation enhancement (PRE) NMR, and protein NMR
structure determination; ability to work independently and effectively
with graduate students, facility and staff.
Responsibilities: carries-out federally funded research in the
area of protein nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy in an
interdisciplinary research environment. Salary is commensurate with
education and experience. An offer of employment is contingent on a
