Scientist
The work of the Center for Proteomic Chemistry lies
at the intersection of the chemical and biological universe – the
common theme of our activities is the systematic study of interactions
of small chemical molecules with large biological macromolecules,
generally proteins.

We are looking for a highly motivated scientist to
join the Structural Science Unit within the Expertise Platform
Proteases of Center for Proteomic Chemistry within NIBR
(NIBR/CPC/EPP/STS). The Structural Science Unit contributes to the drug
discovery process by investigating protein/ligand complexes using X-ray
crystallography and other biophysical methods. The main duty of the
candidate will be the preparation and characterization of
protease/ligand complexes to study their interaction using biophysical
methods including NMR and SPR. In addition, the scientist will
contribute to the production of high quality protein preparations for
structural studies. The candidate will be expected to work with a high
degree of independence regarding the planning and execution of the
experiments, be well organized in order to provide data and reports to
the direct supervisor and to the project teams.
Requirements:
You have a University/Technical High School
diploma, or a MS/BS degree in biochemistry, biotechnology or equivalent
