A postdoctoral research associate position is
available in Professor Chunyu Wang’s group (http://www.rpi.edu/research/biotech/researchers/wang.html),
in the Biology Department at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in
Troy, NY. Research in the Wang lab focuses on the structural biology of
Alzheimer’s disease and intein-mediated protein splicing using solution
NMR. The Wang lab have ample access to three NMR spectrometers in the
same building, a 600 MHz WB, and two narrow-bore 600 MHz and 800 MHz
Bruker NMR spectrometers, both equipped with cryoprobes.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Eligibility for appointment as a postdoctoral
research associate requires an M.D. or Ph.D. in any relevant area.
Experience with NMR characterization of proteins and protein
purification are strongly preferred. Remuneration will be commensurate
with experience. The successful candidate will be offered a one-year
contract renewable upon satisfactory performance.
