Postdoctoral Research Fellow

Responsibilities:

A Postdoctoral Research Fellow position is available in Protein Analytical Chemistry department to study conformational and biophysical properties of proteins using nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) techniques. This postdoc project will involve developing strategy to characterize structures of antibody fragments (i.e. Fab and Fc) and/or other proteins as well as developing and implementing advanced protein NMR methods.

Requirements:

This position requires a recent PhD in Chemistry, Biophysical Chemistry, Biophysics or related fields. A strong background in NMR spectroscopy, protein conformation and biophysical chemistry is essential. Experience with protein chemistry and various spectroscopic methods will be very helpful. The candidate must have excellent organization and communication skills. He/she must be highly motivated and enjoy learning new skills. The individual must be able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
