Postdoctoral
Research Associate (NMR) The Center for Drug Discovery, Northeastern
University, is dedicated to discovering novel medications, developing
technologies that increase the success of discovering new therapeutic
agents, and training scientists in the multidisciplinary field of drug
discovery. To help fulfill this mission, we seek a full-time
Postdoctoral Research Associate experienced in NMR Spectroscopy and its
applications to biological systems. This hands-on position is key
to the Center's activities for both translational science and basic
research into mammalian signal transduction. Under the direction of the
Center's Director, the candidate will be independently responsible for
designing and conducting the relevant experiments; recording,
analyzing, and interpreting the resulting data; organizing the data
into a form suitable for internal reporting and publication; and
planning future experimental approaches. He/she will also be
responsible for training and supervising junior scientists, actively
participating in Center meetings and seminars, and helping set project
goals and objectives. Qualifications
Applicants
should have a Ph.D. with experience in state-of-the art NMR
spectroscopy to obtain structural information on protein
structure. Knowledge of ligand-protein interactions for use in
drug design is highly recommended. Your CV must clearly identify
