Postdoctoral Position in Paramagnetic NMR and Protein Dynamics
Department of Biochemistry and
Institute of Bioinformatics
University of Missouri, Columbia, Missouri, USA
A young assistant professor is seeking a motivated and creative
postdoctoral associate. Prior to assuming the current position, the PI
has several publications in Nature
(444:383-386, 449:1078-1082 and 455:693-696), concerning the
applications of paramagnetic relaxation enhancement (PRE). Now located
in Columbia, Missouri, a quintessential college town, the group has
ample access to NMR instruments of 500, 600 and 800MHz, all equipped
with cryogenic probes. For more information, please visit http://dynamics.missouri.edu.
The successful candidate will be involved in developing novel
paramagnetic NMR techniques in the study of protein dynamics. He or she
will enjoy working closely with the PI, to learn the latest development
in paramagnetic NMR and to push the field forward. The applicant should
have a PhD degree in solution NMR, structural biology, biophysics or
biochemistry, quantitative analysis and computational skills are highly
desired. Salary will be commensurate with experience, plus a relocation
allowance. If interested, please send CV and three reference letters to
