Two postdoctoral fellow positions are available at
the Beckman Research Institute of the City of Hope. The City of Hope
National Medical Center and Beckman Research Institute is an innovative
biomedical research, treatment and educational institution, and a
designated Comprehensive Cancer Center by the National Cancer
Institute. The City of Hope's Beckman Research Institute provides an
environment that encourages interdisciplinary collaboration.
The projects involve studies of post-translation
modifications by the ubiquitin-like protein SUMO, and structural based
drug discovery. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in
one or more of the following fields: NMR spectroscopy, computational
biology, biochemistry, molecular and cellular biology, or X-ray
crystallography. Recent publications of the laboratory include Mol
