A postdoctoral research associate position is available in Professor Chunyu Wang’s group (http://www.rpi.edu/research/biotech/researchers/wang.html), in the Biology Department at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in Troy, NY. Research in the Wang lab focuses on the structural biology of proteins involved in Alzheimer’s disease using solution NMR. The Wang lab is housed in the recently completed Center for Biotechnology and Interdisciplinary Studies (CBIS). Within CBIS, an NMR facility has been established with 600 MHz and 800 MHz Bruker NMR spectrometers, both equipped with cryoprobes.

Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), founded in 1824, is the nation’s oldest technological university and has been recently named as a “New Ivy” by Kaplan/Newsweek college guide.
