Magnetic Resonance
Detection of Explosives and Illicit
Materials
Dear MRDE-2011 & MRDE-2012 Participants, and all
researchers working on NMR/NQR Detection,
1. We are very happy to deliver you a news that our
special issue on MRDE in Applied Magnetic Resonance
has been just published (
http://link.springer.com/journal/723/43/4/page/1)!
Unfortunately we had a delay in a few months partly
due to the involvement of the Editors in the
organization of the second MRDE-2012 workshop. But
finally the Special Issue on Magnetic Resonance
Detection of Explosives and Illicit Materials has been
published in Vol.43 of Applied Magnetic Resonance
journal. Let us express our deep gratitude to all
contributors of this issue and special thanks to the
referees!
2. We are also happy to make the call for papers for
the Proceedings of MRDE-2012 workshop, with tentative
title "Magnetic Resonance Detection of Explosives and
Illicit Materials". We kindly ask those of you that
have not yet submitted the papers at or after
MRDE-2012 workshop, to submit the papers for this
book. The topic of papers is not strictly limited to
your presentation at the MRDE-2012 workshop.
Furthermore, contributions from scientists, who were
unable to participate in the MRDE-2012 workshop, are
also welcome! The editors of the book will be Tomaz
Apih, Bulat Rameev, Georgy Mozzhukhin, and Jamie
Barras. Please submit the papers preferably to Tomaz
Apih (
tomaz.apih@ijs.si)
or to Bulat Rameev (
magresdetect@gmail.com)
addresses.
The book which will be published as a Springer Book of
the NATO Science for Peace and Security Series - B:
Physics and Biophysics, in hardcover, paperback, and
electronic versions. Please avoid duplication of the
topics already covered in the previous book in the
series:
